KR A Dark Alliance
*Not Yet At Stud*
Height: Should mature around 16hh.
KR A Dark Alliance was bred at Ketcham Ranch in Lakeview, Oregon, and imported into Canada as a yearling by Alliance Training & Stud. This fantastic black colt already showcases substance, power, and breathtaking, correct movement. His unflappable, eager to please personality is one of his best traits. We expect him to mature into a fantastic prospect for English & Western Dressage.
As both his parents are inscribed with the ANCCE, KR A Dark Alliance will be evaluated for breeding suitability once he reaches maturity by the Spanish Studbook. Should he pass, he will be introduced into our breeding program and will stand to outside mares as a revised PRE Stallion.
His Dam, Gitana SF, is a consistently exceptional PRE producer by Generoso XXXIII, a PRE Stallion imported from Spain. Generoso XXXIII has produced several ''Qualified'' foals, one of which is a full sibling to Gitana SF. Gitanas half sister, Barrabas SF, was an Andalusian World Cup Champion in 2015.
His sire is popular PRE Stallion Conquistador XII. Conquistador has won Best Movement, Halter & Performance Championships at the Regional level. Unfortunately, due to being attacked at the National Show by another horse, Conquistador was scratched due to needing medical attention, and thus never shown at the National level. He has sired consistently baroque, athletic horses who have succeeded in the Dressage ring.
Conquistador XXII is by 6x Spanish Champion, Indiano XVIII. After dominating the Spanish Breed Show Circuit with 6 Championships, he was exported to Mexico. There, he was awarded the Grand National Champion of Champions title. His sons and daughters are excelling in the Dressage and Halter rings in Spain, Mexico, and The United States.
We are very excited for KR A Dark Alliance's future with Alliance Training & Stud, as well as his hopeful reproductive future within the Andalusian community.
